Great video. Here at Warwick, the paved runway is only 1.950 x 28 feet, but my Aeronca 7CCM loves the grass runways. Unfortunately we can no longer have seaplanes on the lake, which we did for decades. No overrun on 21 or 26 unless you want to get a little wet, and there is Sugarloaf Mountain on the approach end of 21, left or right.
"DROP" in if you are in the area.
Unfortunately there are no longer and FBOs at Sussex and the last mechanic there recently lost his lease. Bet it will be an industrial park in a few years.

Quote: no longer and FBOs at Sussex I was there in 70/71....(instructed at Sussex Aero for Art Medore) about thirty years later I was on a trip to Mt Pocono, I had time to kill so drove over to Sussex and climbed up into the "tower" office. Paul Styger sees me, picks up an envelope and says, I got a letter here from your buddy Medore. I cracked up, he acted as if I had never left... what a memory he had. Too bad about his money troubles. His Obit: https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/ ... =188791690

Yes, the Goose is still open with new owners. They are making some changes for the better. Fuel, a working toilet, starting a flight school, and a full time A&P/IA. Lot of new tenants from Wilgrove that is closing in a couple weeks.

Quote: Where is the 7CCM? How much $ ? Bob, It is in Chico, CA. I think around 35K. It has a Don's dream machine engine. Fairly low time. PM me for a number if you are interested.... he has his eye on a PT-26
