BUT, I think the legacy market is going to stay strong. Airplanes in this segment are bought with cash. People with Corona fears and cash are going to want to travel privately and the 500s are the most affordable jets you can buy.

An issue is, what to travel to?

My brother drove from PA to FL for his annual 3 month trip. He is coming home early.

I have an airplane in my hangar and am anxious to just get up and fly somewhere to get away from all this. But there is no getting away.

Hotels and restaurants closing? How can I travel?

Why would somebody buy a jet in this environment?

Not a jet, but flew the venerable Baron to work this week. I still need to get to our plants and right now, more than ever, GA is a great option.

But agree that folks are hunkering down to see how this plays out.

I definitely think there is a lot more "need to" than "want to" right now. We have an existing client in a King Air that is considering adding a jet, they've been using the airlines for their longer trips and have decided that is no longer an option.

In many cases it isn't "can we" buy a jet, but "can we" justify buying a jet. Fear of death makes for excellent justification... I'm half kidding...

Having said that, I am very glad I'm on the buyer's side of this deal!

As John pointed out, regardless of the CV panic and it's impact on the economy the oil business is headed for the drain and that will put some aluminum toys on the market.
