Does anyone have a copy of the performance section of the pilot operating handbook for a "straight" 1958 or 1959 O-540 powered AC 500 that I could take a peak at?
Thanks!

Jim, thanks! It seems to be a trend!
I ordered a manual from Pilot Mall and it also came without a performance section, even though the pre-amble mentions it as a supplement. I called Pilot Mall to ask about it and they quickly confirmed with their supplier that in fact the performance section was’t included in the manual. Pilot Mall is crediting me a refund.
Since the pre-amble mentions the performance supplement, I’m hoping someone might have one, or created one maybe?

Thanks Jim. But no luck. That download was just what it said it was...a check list for normal operations plus a few emergency procedures. No performance data.

Hi Bob, they were the supplier of the manual I bought through Pilot Mall that I referred to in the earlier post. And no go. They don't have the performance supplement available to include with the manual.
BTW, its been a few years since our 737 days. Hope you and yours are doing well!

RAS I don’t have a copy on my drive as I stick to the later models but I believe you can buy one brand spanking new from Twin Commander Aircraft Corporation for a reasonable cost. For Commander & Cirrus parts contact Cameron Gleichman @ Byerly Aviation : 309-697-6300 Or William Rodriguez @ Naples Jet Center 239-649-7900 Either William or Cameron should be able to get the answer quickly. Thanks!

Jg About 160 knots at 9-10K at 24 gph as I recall. Typical of the era it will not go as fast as the book says it will. I recently parted out an undamaged one. Have a front pilot door, shrike nose, gear, lots of engine parts including OH crank, cylinders, carbs, accessories, cases, MV prop etc. if needed.
