Just brought this one home. This is our second RV-8 with a RV-7 in between. Wonderful, fun airplanes!

Congratulations! I owned its cousin the Rocket for a year until we had a baby and had to sell all my toy airplanes. Great flying airplanes.

I, too, have had a couple of RV-8s and just recently sold the second one to a good friend. As much fun as they are, my SWMBO didn't like riding in the back seat for more than a trip around the patch. Even when we would be taking a rather short trip, she would want to take the A-36. I wonder if a -6, -6a, -7, -7a would still be nearly as fun to fly but allow my wife to see out the windscreen rather than stare at the back of my head.

Congratulations!

John

Which is why I'm building an RV-7.

Same here so I got a 7 which was a great airplane. Realized later that she just prefers Delta Comfort Plus when we're going anywhere. So, My son and I sold the 7 back to the original builder. The 7 is more practical but the 8 just has a coolness factor.

Robert.

I flew with your son a few weeks ago. Top notch, truly!

Congratulations on your new plane. It looks great.
