They had a couple competitive analysis' at NBAA I snapped a pic of. I thought it was a little hokie to have this in a binder and not as part of a nice glossy brochure. But I get it, I'm sure they need to conserve as much cash as possible until the sales start rolling in.

It's not that big though, needs about 2' more in length. The lav is so key IMO. Planes like M2, Phenom 100, Hondajet all have lavs and less range and they's the same size as the Epic. They don't really need a lav.

Jason,
Are you saying the Epic has a lav? I have not seen a Lav in the Epic.
I think a Lav is a big deal for passengers peace of mind. Nobody wants to be stuck in the air having to go potty and be the one that makes the plane land.
I just got a 421 with a Lav and although I doubt we will ever use it my wife is really excited to have it as an option.
Mike

Mike
No. We were talking about cabin size and I was making the point that I'd rather have a lav. TBM doesn't have one but all these mini jets that don't really need one do.

Mike I've been researching the M2 a lot. If you fly it yourself and don't need to haul a bunch of people it's a great airplane. 1500NM. I've been tracking them a lot of FA. Lot's of them flying 4+ hours.

Lot's of them flying 4+ hours. I found the cockpit uncomfortable and don't think I could sit in it for more than an hour. Seems to fit smaller folks better. My buddy was too tall to even get into the cockpit. I'm told they can take out the coffee bar to give the crew seats a little more travel. Easy to fly though. The site picture out the window for takeoff and landing is just like the TTx/Columbia.

It's the same tube as the CJ3 and CJ4. Is the cockpit really so different? I need to sit it one and see if it's less comfortable than PC12.

I need to sit it one and see if it's less comfortable than PC12. JC, Bound to be less comfortable for you - no room for your coterie of 4 blondes, 4 brunettes and a couple of redheads. RAS
