"amazing" is not really the word that springs to mind, at least not in a good way. Not the least concern for visibility to other traffic or for search and rescue should the need arise.

Agreed... when I look at aerial photos of crash sites in trees or rough terrain, even though I know an airplane is there... it's tough to spot. If you're concerned about being found; the louder the better - visually or electronically or both.
