Shows average flight length/ average time to get real block to block speeds....

Epic: 282
Shows Epic faster than:"

SF50:249
Cessna Mustang M1:258
Phenom 100:275
Eclipse 550:266
Honda jet:272

Only thing in the chart beating this is a Mustang M2 (by 21 Knots.) 302

That chart is a great illustration of how to lie with statistics.

Note this is fleet avg distance. Pretty much all the epics are based out west, so they fly longer legs, which means it’s in cruise longer, which means block speed is faster.

It’s a cool plane but I don’t like charts like this. Saying it’s “faster” than a Honda jet is just a lie.

Also based on Flightaware which we all know is not very accurate.
They do have a point if they climb faster they get to cruise speed faster .

Marie Osmond has an Epic and her brother Donny has a Mustang.

The often fly the same routes at the same time and I have heard that the Epic wins.

that’s what I heard, so it must be true. Hehe.

I love the Epic.

Bigger than a TBM, faster than a PC12.
If they can get to production without a major hiccup, this will be a huge success. I have wanted one since the first day I saw it on the ramp in Odessa.
My only concern is the fact that they didn't have one at OSH. How could they be that close and not have one on display? Was there one at NBAA?

They had a customer's Epic LT at NBAA (owned by a BT member I believe). It was all locked up. They had a mockup as well. It is very roomy and comfortable inside compared to my Meridian and the TBM.

...plus, they’re built in Oregon, so the type will have at least one more eastbound trip than the others :D

If only they could fit 8 seats in it (even a couple small ones) it would be perfect for me. Meridian/TBM too small and PC12 too big for me. It's not that big though, needs about 2' more in length.
