Dad recently brought to my son his original, one-owner, NDH, always hangared Cessna 205 amphib. Since my son is still young, I guess you could say I’m the caretaker for now. I learned much about flying in this plane, and I’m thrilled it gets to stay in the family.
Even though we currently have a newer airplane on straight floats, I like the 205 better and frankly think it’s a better looking plane as well. I really hope my son gets as much out of this plane as I did and I’m lucky we have room for both.
Oh yes, pics or it didn’t happen are below. Both shown in the hangar ready for flight.

I tried to convert mine back to fixed gear, it worked for a while then suffered a collapse.
