Cessna 310. I am 6'4" and 270. In the 310 I have to move the seat forward to reach everything comfortably. The Cessna 400 series are a bit tight for a big guy. The Navajo is a bit short on leg room and the devil to get in and out of the front seats. Barons are fine but a bit narrow with another big guy beside me. Ask Don L. about that. :D

Add another vote for the 421. Lots of head and legroom, and everything is laid out logically. It’s (slightly) more comfortable that the KA, especially since there’s no center console.

For singles, the 210 is pretty good for tall guys.

The best aircraft seat ever; Boeing 747. It's electric powered; moves from the cockpit wall toward the center console, then forward. Also up and down, with adjustable armrest that fold back out of the way for ingress - egress.

Built in 5 point harness. If you want to prank the oncoming crew, just tighten the crotch strap all the way; it's good for a couple of minutes trying to adjust it. :D

But the cockpit is the worst in the industry. It took months for the bruises on my forehead to heal after I stopped flying it, not to mention cramped. The 767 and MD-11 are much more comfortable.

The 404/421/441 are some of the most comfortable that I've flown, especially if the bulkhead has been removed behind the seat.

That Aerostar is the best I've seen if you have long legs.

All the above are much more comfortable than the Beech Series...

Like Pontiac said years ago... "Wider is Better!"

400 series cessnas. I’ve only flown the 414 and 425 but they were the best.

The 737 is nice too but the fuel bill would be kinda high for solo ops.

Caravan. Wide, tall, great visibility, good ventilation, and two doors.

The Duke is fine for big pilots once you are in the seat. I’m 6’5”, 245lbs and I have plenty of legroom and headroom.

The most comfortable cockpit?

Whatever one I'm sitting in.

You're right John.

Whether it's the most comfortable or not it's definitely the one I like the best.

The Citation Mustang.

I almost said the Extra 300L

:D

The Extra is unbelievably comfortable for that type of aircraft, the reclined position is nice... and the rudder pedals are adjustable.

My favorite cockpit seat was in the Fokker F27. A close second was in the BAe-146 and had a very comfortable cockpit for it's size too. Made a several leg day more comfortable.

Air Mod seats and interior in our Travel Air was a game changer. The seats were custom made for myself and my wife. Very happy with them.

6'-3" and 250#. The pilot/copilot seats in the Cheyenne 400 are very comfortable once seated. We removed the divider behind the cockpit and gained about 1.5" more legroom. Plenty of width and headroom when seated, however, don't enjoy having to get in over the center console, but both pilot and copilot seats have relief tubes. Not quite as nimble as I used to be, but worth it to drive the beast!

Aerostar is plenty wide, no elbow interference with either the side wall or with whoever is in the copilot seat. Head room is adequate, but would like an additional inch in real rough air, even with fairly thin bottom cushion thickness. Legroom is whatever you want it to be.. plenty. Visibility is great, you are in front of the engines.

Both aircraft are comfortable enough even when spending 6-8 hours in them in one day.

My Colemill Baron was not bad either, but with the slimmer fuselage, I was elbow room challenged with both the sidewall and the copilot. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Another plus for Oregon Aero seats - they sent me additional foam slices to have fitted to my back before the leather was installed. Wonderful for long trips. Agree the Baron is a little tight, but my family is all skinny, so no big deal - and it's the cockpit I own...

My buddy's C560 is great, but nearly impossible to wriggle into. Too rich for me anyway, so who cares?

MU-2 cockpit is insanely comfortable. Citation V is pretty terrible.

Gotta agree with those who mentioned the Cessna 421. Most comfortable I’ve flown.
