Had the great fortune of flying and landing my friend George's Jetprop into Courchevel airport last Thursday. For those unfamiliar, it's rated within the top 10 most dangerous airports in the world. There's only one way in and one way out. It sits 6500 feet up in the French Alps. I must admit, one's first landing is very intimidating. The runway is only 1762 ft with an uphill gradient of 18% (which certainly helps slow everything down)!

Take off is downhill and one rotates basically at the end of the runway. The views are amazing, and the controllers, even though they are French, are super helpful and accommodating.

Worthy of a trip if you have a plane and the opportunity.
