Fly out of KOKK (north central Indiana), looking for a shop that is well acquainted with the 340 for most all maintenance. Present shop we use has had a personnel change and things are not going that smooth. Any guidance would be appreciated, especially first hand knowledge of recommended shops.

I used Steve Fortner He has many years of Cessna Twin experience. He’s always there when I call too.

TAS Aviation at KDFI, Defiance, OH.
https://tas-aviation.com/

Steve Fortner was with TAS for many years and started Fortner AirPro a few years ago.
He's at 0G6, Williams County, Bryan, OH.

I'd recommend both.

Yes, TAS. And join The Twin Cessna Fliers association.

Very pleased with Steve Fortner. We just had our annual done by him. Not only is he a Twin Cessna expert, he is a great communicator and clearly explains everything he wants to do in regards to mx. I see him as a true partner...

Sorry Nathan - I assumed that everyone who owned a twin cessna had heard of them!

Per advice above, definitely join the twin cessna flyer. http://www.twincessna.org

Twice a year the twin cessna flyer puts on a 4 day seminar at TAS. Covers engines, airframe, electrics, hydraulics, gear etc - the lot.

It is run by Tony Saxton who owns TAS. I live in Australia and went to the seminar last year. I was genuinely blown away by Tony's knowledge of twin cessnas. All he works on is twin cessnas - his maintenance hangar is full of them! It wouldnt be a stretch to say that Tony is the foremost expert on twin cessnas in the world.

I would fly my plane across Australia to get that level of service/knowledge. I would definitely fly to the next state like you can. :D

Cheers, brad

I do appreciate all the help.. I don't own the 340, its just kept in my hangar, trying to advise the owners (not airplane people) where to have it worked on. I do fly it as the backup pilot when their pilot is not available.

Thanks
