Congrats to your brother. I have no experience with the GO-300, but my recollection was that it needed to be treated like an old radial or T-Bone with geared engines. No throttle jockey-ing and make sure the engine is driving the prop, and don't let the prop drive the engine.

Pictured is excited brother ready to start his training and the Missouri river. He may have bought the wrong brand of airplane, but at least he is wearing an proper sweatshirt (Go Jayhawks!)

Go figure...South Dakotans as Jayhawk fans. None of us even went to school at KU!? Big fans none the less. We will be down this year for at least one game I'm sure.

Project planes are as much fun as flying planes I always say....not quite but almost! There's something special about giving them a heartbeat again. Good luck to your Dad with his project!

I believe my enthusiasm for aviation finally wore him down! I'm hoping he really enjoys it. Would be nice to have another pilot in the family. All original interior. Even the sheepskin is covering seats that look pristine. Too bad the 60s era paint didn't stick just a little better. Has some flaking and mismatched white in places. Overall very solid airplane.
