How about a part number and maybe a picture of the wheel (half?) that you need?

McCauley p/n D30662. Cleveland p/n D-30660-2. This is the outboard half. I need the inboard half. 3 bolts. 1.5” axle. Attachment: 3ECDE061-B7AF-4B39-A892-4E21F58057F5.jpeg

Say Mark, on that GI-275, it looks like the shop mounted the cutout template ring permanently. You had the panel recut, yes? If so that grey ring is only used for installations where the knob cutouts need to be added, as a template. Murray

I'd suggest changing to Cleveland wheels and brakes. There are a lot of used parts available at reasonable prices. Try Mack at skywagoncity.com.

Yep. They screwed up. Used the template to cover it. They offered to cut a new a panel. I said, let me fly it and decide.
Thoughts?

Depends how much fussiness OCD you have, on a new install my OCD is on high!
But I was grateful when a customer was very accommodating when my Dremel tool grabbed and scratched his panel, yes it bugs me still, but we’re humans too!

I’ll likely get involved with this hockey stick or doubler fix on my neighbor’s 185 next month. Anyone got experience? Pictures?

Thoughts? Honestly, it looks fine to me, though I'd be ticked at the thought of paying full price for a new panel and getting that. If it were me, I'd explain that and try to get something like $500 back, then live with it. They should be happy to save the cost of the new panel and the installation labor.
