This plane is currently for sale and is located at the Meridian Airport. It was purchased in 1987 by local businessman who had intended to get his pilots license so he could fly his own plane someday, over time the owner never got around to getting his license and the plane has sat unused since he purchased it. The owner has started various projects with his plane over the time of his ownership, but the plane hasn’t flown since 1987, owner said that the engine has not started since 2009. Both doors were blown off the plane during Hurricane Katrina due to not being locked, one of the doors was able to go back on with no issues but the other door hinges were broken, and the owner has the door currently held on with a bungee cord, the two back tires are basically new but lose air over time but the front tire was damage during a move to a different hanger and is off the rim and will need to be replaced in order to move plane.

While this plane hasn’t been flown in 30 years, the owner believes that with the right person getting the plane’s engine and flight controls back in working conditions someone could have this plane flying in no time, he understands that money will have to be spent getting this plane back up to spec to fly but with the current prices of this model plane in flying condition, there should be plenty of money to be made or it can be restored and put in someone personal collection.
