No doubt Paul’s a hoot.” Captain Ego’s and Chucky wannabes” . Too funny. Yet informative.

When I first thought about airplane ownership I thought: gee whizz. These are planes. They must have the most sophisticated engines in the universe. anyway mission required night and water so I bought two engines, little knowing....whatever lots of ways to kill yourself besides engine failures. As mentioned VMC into IFR doesn’t usually work out too well for many. And pilot error of course most of it. But brilliant innovation.

Since I sold my A36 I've been looking at various rental options until I'm back in the ownership game......hopefully not too long from now. There's an outfit that rents Cirrus aircraft but the lowest hourly rate is $315 plus $70 consumables. And I have to go through the whole Cirrus training program. Still discerning........
