The subject says it all. Here's my tailwheel. Is it a Scott 3200? 3400? Not Scott?

The log book doesn't give you a clue what it is?

It kinda reminds me of an Alaskan Bushwheel made as a replacement for a Scott. Maybe a 3400 series. Just a guess...

There are so many entries in the Canadian logs that it's hard to say. There's an entry about an Alaskan Bushwheel, but I assumed that wasn't it because it's so small. I can't find anything else, but that doesn't mean there's nothing else to find.

Looks like an ABI 3400 to me.

How do you tell a 3200 from a 3400? They look the same on the ABW site.

Mounting bolts through the side. Fits stinger.
3200 fits flat spring, mounts through top.

I'm far from an expert, but I concur that it appears to be a 3400 style tailwheel. The difference between the 3200 and 3400 is how they attach to the stinger. Here's a pic of my 3200; vertical vs horizontal attachment (for lack of a better description).

That's what I thought too. The 3400 is designed for a tubular tailwheel spring while the 3200 is for flat leaf spring. Tailwheels from Alaskan Bushwheel are black. The original Scott are usually light grey in my experience

AHA!

So, it’s the ABW replacement for a 3400? That explains why the logs have an ABW entry and there’s this thing that doesn’t look like a Baby Bush Wheel.
