If I were to be looking at a high performance twin turbo, high altitude capable airplane, it would be pressurized, mostly for the passengers sake.

It's all the effort of a pressurized airplane without the hugely compelling benefits of pressurization. Pressurization is a game changer. I would try real, real hard to buy a Malibu or Mirage instead. JMO. Piper has basically stopped making the Matrix, none delivered since 2015. Mike C.

Nothing first hand to provide, but I want to follow this thread. Joe Casey, one of the several instructors specializing in the PA46 wrote a blog post on why he doesn't like the Matrix as much as the other 46's. https://flycasey.com/thinking-of-buying-a-matrix/

How tall is the pilot? I'm 6'1", all legs, and I've found in my (limited) time in the PA46- series, that they aren't very generous with legroom. I wanted the seat to go back at least 2 or 3 more notches, that didn't exist.

It’s not made for pilots taller than 6’3 unless you get the seat modified (there is a kit) so that it’ll lean back more. But honestly... I’m 6’2 and fit snuggly
