My uncle, Jim Logan, spent years building a Fokker D7 from plans. He had a heart attack and died around 1994 before he could finish it, and his widow sold it, and where it went I don’t know. He also had a Mercedes engine for it and I was able to find out what happened to that via an internet search: http://wwi-cookup.com/albatros/museum/m ... ction.htmlI am curious as to what happened to his D7 project. If it was finished I would like to take a look at it. Given all the aviation experience and connections on this forum, maybe someone knows what happened to this airplane…

FAA registry lists a few planes it might be: N1918F N113TH N269ZW N18FK Might try contacting those owners. The above list was done by searching for "D7" in the model field on the FAA registry web site: https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquir ... quiry.aspxMike C.

So even if none of the planes are the right one, you should ask if they know of other flying or project D7s out there. Also, consider doing social media posts. If someone is social media active and owning, building, flying a D7, they probably said so and you can find it. Mike C
