Stuart, That sounds about right, around 12 GPH is about what I figured when flying my dad's 180 and on wheels and it went about that fast; on Edo 2870's it was more like 110kts. Considering the 180/185 are the same airframe I would expect a 520 or 550 pulled back to 180 fuel flows would achieve 180 speeds as well. Jeff

After 25 years of flying, I now have a fast plane that doesnt guzzle gas and has virtually no squawks out of the ordinary. Yeah, I think Im gonna sell it and buy a boat.
