3 month avionics project is beginning another 3 month extension haha. Project creep and “while I’m there-itis” is in full force. Maybe by years end if it’s where it needs to be. Fuel servo components at Airflow (Thanks George). All flexible fuel and brake hoses are in reman. All wires slowly being recreated. AC compressor and condenser mount coming along. Even it if extends the timeline (which it ALWAYS does), I've always regretted not doing it right away. So good call So worth it when you get it back!

Another three month extension has been granted on the original 3 month project lol Wiring nearly done, panel design finalized due to budget depletion syndrome. Attachment: Panel Final.jpg Harness getting wrapped up, still got to finish Coax and CAN wires to the 3 servos and 2 trim motors (no aileron trim). Attachment: Harness 1.jpg Attachment: Harness 2.jpg Compressor rigging done, Condenser ready for nutplates this weekend (anybody wanna buck some rivets at KDVT?) This is Bill Genevro's Air Conditioning system he designed for the Rv10 with an uprated evaporator and a 24v motor for my bird. His installation manual is first rate with detailed engineering drawings and he has been very helpful supporting me along the way. https://www.airflow-systems.com/rv-10/Experimental aircraft make life easier. Although the IAR 823 was designed to Part 23 standards.

I am basically SMP right now. Its time to turn on the AVX master on the Bolshevik Bonanza. I've already tested all the airframe functions (had been rewired). Thankfully all the motors and devices went the proper direction (we were on jackstands!). So I guess I turn on one device at a time and check for leaks? Attachment: Ready.JPG

Welp... a year In to the 3 month refresh and feeling a bit stalled but making progress. 750xi will be here tomorrow Schroth is working with me for custom harnesses. Panel is powder coated and delivered to silk screen. Need to get the prop on and order some push pull cables. Hard to make much progress when it’s cold and dark out just working mornings, evenings and weekends but that will change soon enough. I need my bird back! Yes, you can shoot machine guns off this Yup that outfit in Florida has a bunch. I deactivated the wing pylon wiring for some reason... its heavy enough as it is... But some blue-death might be a fun trick
