Is it a video distortion or a skidding turn on departure?

Watching the video, the turn just didn’t feel right from that angle. Can’t see the ball. I imagine whatever you are doing is intentional so just curious.

182 is extremely forgiving in that regard. I was in the back of a loaded 182 once which ended up low, slow, and uncoordinated and it didn’t bother a bit. No Go in a Bonanza.

Yes skidding turn intentional, turn is at low alt taking advantage of ground effect and to lessen the danger of touching the ground or water with the wing.
