Those pictures remind of me when we did the interior in mine. My helper is in high school now and thinks she has outgrown airplanes. I'm glad I'm not that old yet.

Hi Sven,
Its a repair officially, but an OH in reality. I’ll detail the list when I get the invoice.
The interior guy re-foamed the front seats for another test. He shaped the bolsters and widened the saddles. He went with thinner/denser foam. Bingo! Front seats will start soon. The aft seats are really comfortable. We are taking advantage of the cabin width.

Things are really coming together.
The second effort at seat foam was much improved. High quality dense foam, wider saddles, and nice bolsters.
The new curtains are sweet and look great in person.
John has the motor hung and is working through the install. Its a beast of a job. You can see the OHd prop governor, turbo, servo, mags, new harness, etc...
Should be done by end of week!

Excited! “How sweet it is!” Nothing like getting back to flying after an unexpected hiccup. Hope all goes great tomorrow Jesse.

Thanks Sven. The old motor performed well, but I knew it had an issue I hadn’t found yet. Only having one turning, I am very glad we discovered it and happy to spend the money.
Now I have a good looking 185kt single with a fresh motor, deice, turbo, AC, big cabin, front/rear baggage, and a nice panel. Thats nearly impossible to find and worth the headache. I can’t wait to break her in so I can start the fine-tuning. Hoping to post results tonight.
The interior actually came out great. I went with comfort/utilty over beauty considering my missions, but in the end it looks very nice in person. I’ll have to do a before-and-after at some point.
