I may do that. I want to see the guts first and go from there. I’m not big on $$ for paperwork but if there is a reason I’ll do the major.

Wow! I'm reasonably confident I could detect something like this on any of my cars. That being said, you set a high bar for knowing your machine. Once I enter the realm of plane ownership I hope to be able to do the same. Nicely done sir!

I hate to say it, but I would have kept the Baron you had. Good luck with the overhaul or IRAN.

I think thats what most BTers would do.

I like to restore airplanes and try new things. The Toga flies Baron speeds on less gas with a roomier cabin and outclimbs it. The Baron has pros too of course.

The Navajo OTOH was a special airplane that will be very tough to replace.

Jesse,

Could you post some engine monitor data. I would be curious to see if the affected cylinders had overall lower EGT’s.

Nah, should have taken all the $ spent on fixing things and then flipping the end result to other folks, and bought a KingAir.

I think I tuned a lot of the issue away with Gamis. It explains why the spread was so large.

Its all good. I have flown these birds thousands of hours. Maintenance ain’t no thang when you fly a bunch.

What matters is knowing I have addressed every issue I can find. That doesn’t mean something can’t go wrong, but I have done all I can.

Do you know how comforting it is to read posts from some of the smartest people on BT that are blowing money out of their *** on their airplanes?

All this time I thought I was standing alone in the room when all I needed to do was turn the light switch on and see the room is full. :D :bud:
