Scotland to Cleveland into the sun for 11 hours. Extremely boring, my eyes just needed to be closed when I got to the hotel.

My longest flight was a 5hr 45min flight in a coach seat, in the middle section aisle seat, in the back of a 767, on a red eye from LAX to Minneapolis. I'm a big guy 6' 320, so my knees got beat up on the seat in front of me, and the nearly 200 lbs. flight attendant walking up and down the aisle woke me up each time she bumped into me The only reason I bought a coach seat was because after we missed our flight (which we had first class seats on) the next first class seat available was 2 days later. If that happens again, I'll get a hotel room and wait on first class.

14.2 hours, single pilot, night, formation, 6 hours in weather, chasing a tanker. No autopilot. Followed by a 14.1 the next night, same as above but no wx. I was much younger then...

My longest flight as a pilot was 6 hours and 15 minutes, in my hang glider. About 15 minutes longer than my Cardinal.
