Dave Simple but effective is an old white sheet cut to fit and floating from seat corners to rear hat shelf. Just need to figure out how to attach. This worked well for rear of our station wagon in the sixties without AC. My sister and I could sleep all day while mom n dad drive us across country. Windows partially down it was awesome. The good old days. More costly would be a sun visor from Rosen. Maybe they make one close to the size or you could place several in window to blocks the sun. Let us know they may have a deal at OSH if you’re not going.

I wish. Unfortunately my wife has mild spasmodic torticollis in her neck and this causes involuntary neck and head movements.

182's.... Best thing since sliced bread. Any chance that pup can also get some hearing protection? Deafness secondary to loud, low frequency noise is not exclusive to humans. Regards,

TN Tom, I have a pair of Mutt Muffs for her but I figured that for her first time in the 182 we'd go without them until she get's use to it. We worked with her a little at home by putting them on for 5 minutes at a time and giving her treats but she just freezes up with them on. We'll try it again this Friday and see how it goes. Dave

Shows 2 possible parts numbers but I think this set is correct for a 69 w/ your S/N: Curtain 0700707-11 Bracket 1200612-5 Support 0700707-6 Now, finding the part? Good luck. I would try a stick on removeable sun shield like this: https://www.amazon.com/Lecone-Perforate ... g=btalk-20or a roll up screen like this: https://www.amazon.com/Dreambaby-Count- ... g=btalk-20RAS
Richard, I think what I'll do is buy a commercial roll down shade and mount it with Velcro so it's not a permanent installation. My airplane still has the bracket at the top for where the shade hooks to while expanded.

Dave Dave, I knew exactly what part numbers b/c we redid our interior last year. Had the same bracket, searched a bit for the other parts with no joy. I have cloth matrix blinds like the first amazon item in my car - they do work amazingly well. Since I do not have a rear vision mirror (which was also an option in 1969) I suspect the cloth matrix would work just fine in the rear window. It does allow some visibility through but blocks much of the light/heat in my car. RAS
