I know someone who needs a type rating checkride soon, does anyone have any recommendations for someone that is in Nebraska or somewhere in the Midwest?

There's a DPE here in KC that I believe is qualified on them. Let me ping him and find out. Yep, he is. We didn’t have a DPE in the Midwest. All our jet check rides were at CAE in Dallas. Sorry man.

For an initial type rating, I would highly recommend going to Flightsafety or even Simcom. You get to do a lot you wouldn't do in the airplane. I think the cost is well worth it for the first time.
