Creating a thread here in tribute to James Crossno and his family shuttle, the MU2 short body. I agreed to purchase a totally unneeded item from James just to get a ride in his MU2 and what an experience. I have a lot of PT6 time but this ride was my first ever in a Garrett powered turboprop, so I was wide eyed and laser focused on those particulars. We went from home base for a night flight to Waco just to exercise mind, body and airplane and, well, because we can. The Crossno express is straight out of paint and interior from San Angelo and it looks and feels amazing. But the most remarkable thing was taking off and climbing out. The MU2 is a sturdy and smooth machine, and James has her under his control. It's a different world than I'm accustomed to, but also refreshing. Nothing but good things to say about the man and machine. What a hoot. Thanks James pics soon

You realize, of course, that without pictures all of us believe you are only sharing a fantasy...

Well, this flight was clearly illegal. And I don't see a track in Flightaware. And based on my research, MU2's don't even have wifi so how can you post about this without posting pictures?

Noisier on the ground. Definitely.
