I did it 10 years ago. New Holstein is a great gathering of Supercubs. A lot of knowledge in one place.

Let me add to my comments now that I have more time. When I went to New Holstein, it was a real community event. The town of New Holstein provided vans and let us use the showers at the High School. There was a bus over to Oshkosh each day for a reasonable fee. I had never been to Oshkosh, so my theory was that it was much easier to fly to New Holstein, and then spend a day at Oshkosh without going through the stress of flying into Oshkosh.
For me, it was great trip. I had my then 10 year old daughter with me. She is now 19 years old and working on her instrument rating. More importantly, she is tailwheel current in our Legend Cub.

One last note if you decide to go: the mosquitoes are brutal and there is a good chance of a t-storm accompanied by high winds. Take good tie downs.
