That article claims certification will be to 34K. I wonder how they've accomplished that with a single engine airplane.

I hope they get it certified to 34k so Daher can pursue it as well on the TBM. Not sure how this will be done. Hope they get it certified this year as we could use more competition. When you buy a turbine you’re buying into an ecosystem. 3.25 million is a decent sized gamble that the company will survive and prosper long enough to take care of you and insure you can sell when you want at a reasonable price

Hell, $3.25MM gets you a really nice PC12NG that probably will never lose a penny in value.
I love the Epic. I think it's a gorgeous bird but it's got a lot of competition.
Yes Tony, it's a gamble. Here we go again ... I’m a buyer for that Phenom if you can find me one or ten! But you and Tony are right on the concept. Why risk it with such great alternatives? Makes me think “this is why aviation doesn’t change much ...”

There are loads of them on Controller asking $2MM. You won't know until you try. Tire kickers don't get good deals..... Regardless...... the glut of unwanted mini-jets are going to impact the market for a long time. Honestly, if I'm looking at that size cabin airplanes.... I'm spending half and getting the mini-jet over the TBM or Epic..

Coming from the guy flying a SETP
You get it, even if you don't realize. You fly a SETP that costs as much as an old jet. Heck you can get some serious jet relics for less than a PC12. Owner pilots like something about the TP's, they continue to outsell the mini-jets. Jets are great if you have a jet mission. They are not very good for the average owner pilot that flies an average of 200 nm, usually by themselves or a couple of people, into all kinds of runways, often short. The SETP's continue to outsell the mini-jets... Maybe the market is just crazy
