The average weight of a TISO 520N is 475lbs.
The Average weight of a GTISO520L is 485 lbs.
there is only a ten pound difference between the two engines.

The 414A has the same fuselage and tail as the 421C.
The 414A has the same wing and landing gear as the 421C.
The 414A has a 36 inch conventional wing extension instead of tip tanks.

The 421C has a higher GW and about the same empty weight as the 414A.
Over time there have been mistakes made in the math when recalculating the W&B on a lot of planes. This is why 135 operation requires planes to be reweighed.

I'm pretty sure the 421 has a different wing than the 414.

Different wing for the early tip tank 414’s and 421B models.
The same wing and gear for the 414A and 421C
Except the 414A has wing extensions which the 421 does not have.

I'm pretty sure Sanford is correct. Someplace, I read that the 421C wing was a derivative of the Citation wing.

Standing on the ramp and looking at the two, the 421C wing is definitely different from what I remember. It's a thicker looking wing.

If memory serves me right, the 421C wing is the same as the 404 and 441.

Nope, the 421C wing is definitely not the same as an early 414, 401 or 402 Wing.
The 421C wing is based off the early Citation wing and the 414A basic wing and gear is based off the 421C wing and gear. The 414A then had wing extensions added.

This is in the the Cessna book by Bill Thompson who was the manager of flight test and aerodynamics for Cessna and he was also an engineering test pilot at Cessna where he worked for 28 years.

In addition to what others have said, I would get a Twin Cessna Flyer membership. They have detailed information on cost of ownership and a wealth of other information...
