Hi All, I just returned from a very pleasant three day trip to visit the folks at Preston Aviation in Winter Haven, FL (KGIF) to complete a tail-wheel endorsement. Tim Preston and his wife Peggy run a great operation, and are just down-to-earth, friendly folks! Tim is also a highly experienced tail-wheel CFI! Training is offered in both a J-3 Cub, and a Stearman. I completed my tail-wheel endorsement in 6.4 hours spread across three very enjoyable days of J-3 Cub flying. Weather was nearly perfect, and it was great to escape the miserable cold of the Northeast for a couple of days! If anyone is considering adding tail-wheel skills to their repertoire, I honestly don't think you can go wrong with Preston Aviation! Highly recommended! Preston Aviation: http://flytailwheel.com/

I believe we met Peggy on a trip last fall in their office while transient with the city - she was kind to my extremely curious three year old who wanted to know about everything.
