Trying to find a way to make the leap. Is the MMOPA worth the $250/yr?
Pointers on maintenance reserves, fuel burn, etc? Suggestions on what I should look for in a starter model and what you think is about the lowest reasonable price point for a decent Unit?
Thanks

Steve,
MMOPA is well worth the membership cost. I believe they have a free trial membership. I would also recommend Joe Casey. He helped me with my acquisition.

I've joined a number of type specific owners sites over the years when researching different airplanes. Some are better than others but all have been invaluable. Well worth the money if you're serious about a particular airframe.

There is a lot of misinformation out there about most airframes on the web, but I think the misinformation on the PA46 seems to be even higher than most other airframes, that I am familiar with. So there is a lot of benefit to getting your info from people that really fly them If you do get a PA46, the forum is almost guaranteed to be free every year in the money you will save on the acquisition and maintenance side.
