I fly to a small airport near Toronto 2-3 per month. No hangars available for a TBM so I got a set of wing and tail covers made up for the TBM. I think these will work pretty good. I put them up last night for the first time, easier to put up than the C185 as its a low wing.

Daher’s Model Year 2018 TBMs introduce heated seats for enhanced comfort, marking a first in single-engine turboprop aircraft Tarbes, France, February 13, 2018 – Daher today announced new features for its 2018 production TBM 910s and TBM 930s, including the first electrically-heated seats for an aircraft in its single-engine turboprop category. Building on the cabin restyling implemented last year for Daher’s very fast turboprop aircraft, every seat in Model Year 2018 TBM 910s and TBM 930s are the new heated seats, with the heating function controlled. Once the mode is engaged by the pilot via a master control in the cockpit, each occupant can choose whether to utilize the heating – and select either light or moderate heat settings. Other new features on the Model Year 2018 aircraft are tailored for improved pilot interface. This includes backlighting on the cockpit’s central console to provide enhanced visibility at night for the manual trim, power lever, flaps lever and override controls. Additionally, a high-fidelity microphone has been incorporated in the pilot’s oxygen mask for clear communications with air traffic control when the mask is in use. “Updates for the Model Year 2018 underscore our commitment to constant improvement on the TBM 910 and TBM 930,” commented Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of the Daher Airplane Business Unit. “In addition to benefitting our owners and operators, they enhance the in-flight experience for passengers – which is important as we see the development of TBM sales to corporate and commercial operators.” He added that Daher’s superior level of service for TBM aircraft is further evolving to meet customer expectations. In addition to the continued inclusion of Total Care Program (TCP) coverage as part of the TBM “Elite package,” Model Year 2018 TBM 910/TBM 930 customers will receive a host of new services: subscriptions to the Garmin Pilot database and Jeppesen Pilot Pak™ bundle and, in countries where available, a three-month subscription to Sirius XM weather and radio. to read more click on the link A video about the interior design evolution for TBM 900-series aircraft is available online at: http://www.tbm.aero/media/videos/ High resolution photos and videos available Download here our 2018 TBM Media Kit with high resolution pictures Daher Philippe de SEGOVIA DIRECTOR TBM SALES PROMOTION AIRPLANE BUSINESS UNIT

2017: Another good year for the Daher TBM aircraft Tarbes, France, February 21st, 2018 – The Daher Airplane Business Unit today announced its 2017 delivery totals for the TBM very fast turboprop aircraft, with 57 TBM 910s and TBM 930s provided to owners and operators during the year. This highlights the aircraft’s success since the Daher group’s takeover in 2008, reinforced by the TBM 900-series introduction in 2014. TBM deliveries in 2017 were divided between the TBM 910 version (launched in April 2017, equipped with Garmin’s G1000 NXi all-glass avionics suite controlled by a physical keypad), and the TBM 930 (initiated in 2016, featuring Garmin’s G3000 flight deck with touchscreen-controlled glass flight deck). North America remained the lead market for TBM aircraft. Europe was in a solid no. 2 position for the second consecutive year with 10 deliveries in 2017 for France, Germany, United Kingdom, and Poland. Since the TBM’s market entry in 1990, 879 aircraft have been built in all versions, including earlier-production TBM 700s and TBM 850s. “The 2017 results confirm the continued appeal of our very fast turboprop for the owner-pilot population, with TBM 910s and TBM 930s acquired by current TBM owners and new customers alike,” commented Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of the Daher Airplane Business Unit. He added that in addition to the TBM’s high-speed cruise and excellent range, the service offered through Daher’s TBM Support Network – in particular, the coverage provided with the TBM Total Care Program (TCP) – provides advantages in clients’ choice of the very fast turboprop aircraft. “As one of our customers wrote us: with Daher’s support strategy, there always is a solution,” Chabbert concluded. Now that may be reason to trade my M600 in on a TBM. I have been commuting back and forth between Idaho and UT this week, and pre-flighting in single degree temps, with winds, ice and blowing snow, having heated seats would make me smile. Notice my smile in this photo yesterday morning Attachment: 1 (13).jpg

Daher will never tell you but they are always working on new stuff. We will see a super TBM eventually with FADEC, perhaps 2020. Username Protected wrote: So when is the TBM 1000 coming out?!?

Fuel stop in Regina, SK tonight and these 2 hawk trainers landed behind me.
Pretty cool that they parked beside my TBM. They are single engine also !
Still lots of snow in the prairies.
