I have the G3000 in my M600. It operates very similar to the G600/GTN750/GFC 600 combination. I find it very intuitive and easy to use. The one thing I don't like is that the audio panel is separate for pilot and copilot, and there's no way to combine them so one button push changes the audio for both pilots. When I fly with someone in the right seat I have to change their side as well as mine so they hear what I'm hearing. Two button pushes instead of one is a pain.

In the 960, we don't have this issue if I understand you correctly. Either touch controller controls both radios and all audio functions for each pilot or separately.

I have a 2021 M600 and I do not have to do that for the copilot to hear the same as I am hearing.

My G1000 audio panel(s) are the same. Pilot and co-pilot are independent and I often have to tell my passenger to push the Com2 button so they can hear when I transmit on CTAF or ground.

I think what you are referring to, is that the copilot has control over what he wants to hear, and what freq he wants to transmit on. He has the choice of listening to com 1 and or com 2, music, aux whatever. that is a good thing, as the copilot could be talking and listening on another freq without bothering the copilot. Nice, especially if you have two pilots, and one wants to talk to FSS, FBO, or handle something on guard. Otherwise the default is set up the radios so they hear the same comms, and all freq changes from either side flip the radios. That default is remembered, so unless you switch the copilot side they are mirrored the same. So you don't have to switch both sides unless you want to be on different radios. You can do the same with pax in the back. You can select for them to hear com 1 and or 2,XM, aux, and even select which positions can hear intercom. Best radio setup I have ever seen. My pax rarely want to listen to ATC or XM since they have their own movies and music blue toothed in, so very flexible and intuitive since it is all touch screen.

I don't often fly with another pilot but last weekend I had one and he talked to the FBO to let them know we were close and to pull the car up while I was "on the other line" negotiating with approach. Nearly an hour after landing, they finally found the car keys. Best laid plans... :beechslap:

Steve, during my ownership the dealer/maintenance provider (AVEX) handled tracking at no charge. They provide an owner portal so you could have access to the same information.

I'm using a spreadsheet with formulas for all the hour/calendar/cycles

I keep thinking about moving it to a real database but it is pretty easy to use as is

Thank you for the recommendations. I have an Avex maintenance status/run, but it seems like you are captive for maintenance with relying on them for maintenance tracking.

Thanks,
Steve
