I'm getting checked out in a 2013 G1000 TBM 850 in mid-November.

If anyone has a Foreflight Profile and W&B they wouldn't mind sharing I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

If you have ForeFlight Pro I believe it will automatically populate performance numbers.
There is an app called TBM Performance which will give you W&B and a lot of other information such as VREF speeds, landing and take off distance/speeds based on current conditions which it obtains from the METARS.

I use the TBM performance app, it's pretty decent. I also programmed the W&B chart into Foreflight. if you tell me how to share the FF data, I'm happy to do so.

Truth is, 95% of our missions are so far inside the W&B envelope it makes doing a W&B a trivial exercise.

Thanks Guys, I've got the TBM Performance APP, just trying to get everything into Foreflight as I use it the most.

To send the Aircraft Performance you go to Aircraft in More and select the Aircraft and use the Top Right Send button to email etc.

I know FltPln.com has pretty good profiles too, but I don't use it that much.

Thanks Again!

FYI I find the fltplan numbers to match actual within a very small margin. That is my preferred flight plan filing tool although I do use foreflight for visualization.

This has been true for me so far, I only found the limit with 6 adults and 250 lbs of bags. If loaded incorrectly it would be just outside the rear CG range. It's the first time I have used the front baggage compartment for actual cargo.

Mark someone needs to remind Gary to never tell the ladies they need to lose weight. Rather lose my medical then jump off that cliff. :D

I’ve had her full before and left some fuel behind in Mark’s case. Haven’t found passengers wanted to stay in their seats over 3 hours. My wife has but not with a full cabin of people. I feel like the 850 is like the 182. Fill her up and take off, adjust fuel as needed in the 850.Watch your CG but should not be a problem in almost all cases.

The fact that you can actually put 6 adults and luggage in the airplane, and still go somewhere further than down the street, just adds testimony to its incredible versatility.

It’s a BEAST!

We have a client for a late model TBM-850 with a pilot door. We’ve found several off market, but all will only sell if they have a replacement. If you have or know someone who has an airplane please let me know, we will pay a finder’s fee.

Had a slightly awkward conversation with ATC yesterday….

Me: Center, TBM 0MB, request
Center: Go ahead
Me: request right deviation for 5 miles
Center: Is there a buildup there?
Me: (looking at clear sky and a 105 knot tailwind about 40 degrees off my current heading) Ummm.. no
Center: Reason for the deviation?
Me: I want to go really fast…
Center: Right deviation approved, direct destination when able and advise

It worked out to 408kts GS!

P-51 was used to Uber the pilots up to Groton to retrieve the TBM after the annual.
Comments was the TBM climbed better but the 51 was faster at cruise.
Not the norm to see the Mustang and TBM come over in formation and make the break overhead.

Is there a way to adjust the prop RPM in the 930 or is it just a scheduled thing with the single power lever set up?

Also I notice on Steveo TBM850 vids the fuel pump is incredibly loud when he turns it on?

Just seemed strange. I have about 4500hrs sitting between PT6s and the Twotter and Bandit fuel pumps were inaudible in the cockpit.
