Well today was the day!
Just brought home my 501 SPLW to 11R TX, hand flew hand, because I wanted , was nice
WOW first time flying(Right Seat of course for now) in a Citation jet !
For what I need, this was perfect for my missions.
It was great, can't wait to start flying to MYEH!
1595 #s useful load after full of fuel!!

My friend Joe as one for sale also. http://aircraftsales.ca/?p=342Username Protected wrote: I know of a attractive Citation II with on condition HT blades for 265K with more than 1000+ hours before any sort of engine event.
PM me if anyone is interested in a stretch-Klingon.

Nice.
Can you use the Garmin 750s intercom to replace the OEM intercom? Do you still use the Universal FMS?

I'm sure it's been touched upon multiple times, but what's the fuel burn and speed at say FL350? What's the fuel burn down low?
Also, looking at engines, I understand these are not economical to overhaul, so you either part it out or urn them over. But what is the average HSI cost? Because that you do need to comply with. Down low fuel burn (say stuck at 17,500) is about 180 GPH, up high it's about 120 GPH. I think the real world speed on real world days is about 335kts. It will do a tad more but it's generally not ISA temps where I fly. I think clean HOTs are running $45K a side. My plane has a fresh HOT on one side (1700 hours remaining) and 700ish til TBO on the other side. The caveat on the 1,700 hours remaining motor is that the HT blades cycle out in about 700 cycles so I may cycle out before I time out unless I limit my flights to longer legs. If I still own it in that time, I'd probably find a used motor or 2 for $90-100/hr time remaining. Some engines have on condition HT blades with no set cycle limits. Plane is just doing great. It never breaks and is a real joy to fly and own. I'm very happy with my Klingon

4 of us flew from 11r Brenham Tx to Indy for the Indy 500 in AJ's pit during the race 772 miles 2.6 hrs ea way at 27/28 ( waiting on RVSM approval) 1600#'s climb and 1000#'s cruise is what we saw , full fuel four people and 100/125 #'s bags landed with 1000#'s 335 kts cruise all day burned 2804#'s ea way=419 gals 1.84 miles per gal average Hoping at 35/39 to see 335kts and 750#'s and make 1,100 miles , we will see once RVSM arrives, need to look at long range cruise also definitely a good way to go SP transition from turbo prop doable, BUT very drastic change from piston to turboprop no big deal turbo to turbine, well for me very busy and quick when SP and starting cold turkey "0 jet"
16 hrs now total, better every day, friend flying with me just because until I feel good enough to go without him myself. can never be to safe
Now wondering what is a good avioncs package that doesn't cost more than plane currently gns 500 non waas, prefer waas and adsb in/out, all else is great
even if I stop both ways to and from Bahamas its still half the time of Cheyenne which I really like flying also ideally is to fly non stop to myeh and 1 CBP and fuel stop coming home
