I am looking at a Stallion with Eagle Mod Larger wing. The extra range seems nice. Do they call that the Eagle II and not a Stallion?

Yes.

The decoder ring for Sierra mods:

Stock airplane: JT15D-1A/1B, 2200 lbf, 3780 lbs fuel.

Eagle: JT15D-1A/1B, 2200 lbf, 4510 lbs fuel (in wing humps).

Stallion: FJ44-2A, 2300 lbf, 3780 lbs fuel (stock capacity).

Eagle II: FJ44-2A, 2300 lbf, 4510 lbs fuel (in wing humps).

Quote:
I thought the Eagle II was the larger Citation II with the Williams engines?

No, that's the "Super II" for the 550 or the "Super S-II" for the S550.

I took the Citation to FL410 this week. 330TAS is where it settled in on 750pph. After some initial issues with one of the engines, I finally have them well matched and performing perfectly. The plane will go through a pretty major make over starting in January so I am trying to get all the little stuff done now. Solid, easy to fly and very quiet and comfortable.

If your shop is like mine, they would say that’s a week out...

In a military airplane, or any of my wiring projects, you’ll find lace cord as opposed to zip ties. I’m not anti zip ties but lace cord makes for a nice installation. When you stick you arms back into that hole you won’t get lacerations from those sharp tag ends.

Mike Patey has a new invention of rubberized zip ties he's marketing on his videos, Grip Lock Ties. Check out the last video he made. I'd be willing to support him as he's just such a hard worker and a true aviation guy.

I love Patey’s videos. Grip Ties are better but won’t replace lace cord.

I am very excited! I just bought what I think is the nicest 501 on planet earth. The interior looks like a new Gulfstream too. Flying it back shortly from Colorado to FL. This is the sister ship of that Duke I'm selling.

Was watching that plane. How did you handle the 500hrs to OH? Just boroscope and plan on a 91 HSI?
