The t-hangar in question is 43 feet wide, depth is pretty good. I see the 500's wingspan is listed at 37 feet. I would think the distance from the wing trailing edge to the nose would be the needed measurement. Thanks. John

It depends on the T-hangar. I suggest you ask at the Eclipse Owners forum as there are several owners who successfully use a T-hangar for their Eclipse aircraft. When there is an issue, it is usually because the wing is further back on a jet than on a piston due to the engine mounting location, which puts the CG aft and demands that the wing be further aft. Hence it pays to just graph it out for the particular hangar you're contemplating: ...and don't forget to allow room for the static wicks on the tail and tip tank. Ken

Fits in my 50 foot T hangar It's a surpringly tight though. Not a lot of room to spare behind the tip tanks or in font of the nose.

Maybe the 18'11" nose to wing rear would be enough? Or is the nose to some place on the wing at 18'0" supposed to be the tip tank? Seems like that is some random spot out the wing. Who would ever need the 19'1" diagonal measurement? Mike C.
