And rightfully so

I would fly with Jon C. Anyone who can base one at San Carlos has got to be good.

It’s actually not that hard to operate the Mits out of KSQL. Never an issue landing, of course, unless there’s a Cherokee landing in front of me... for some reason they always seem to need to roll to the end. The Mits typically makes the midfield turnoff.

I am very curious to know from the highly esteemed Beechtalk crowd how many pilots would even go flying in one if given the opportunity? Let's assume fully qualified and experienced pilot and well maintained aircraft with favorable conditions. How many of you would pass just because you have concerns that the plane is inherently unsafe? Only two can fly. The rest have to be passengers. Sorry, couldn't hep mysef. Dan (Yea, I'd go in a heartbeat.)

I've flown in an MU-2 a half dozen times. I enjoyed every flight and would be delighted to get another ride someday. This included icing at FL230 over Nevada and a night contact approach into Ogden, UT (KOGD).
