I believe this is a 67 model with original paint. In 1978 I bought 182 N2693R a 1967 Skylane with the identical factory paint scheme. Flew it about 5 years and it was a great airplane. You will enjoy it.

My dad had a '68 when I was in high school, did my private and instrument in it. Flew all over the country, bahamas, into Mexico, etc. Great plane.
We had a Horton STOL kit - not at all necessary, but was nice at times and something to consider prior to painting.

I'm a student pilot in a 182R. It's a pretty easy transition from the 172. I'm drawn to White/Orange/Grey/Black schemes for some reason. Attachment: 182.jpg
