Mine would be Phenom 300 with Garmin G3000, CJ3+ would be in serious consideration but Phenom is faster. This is all hypothetical of course, just me doing some daydreaming at the office. Alex, Get back to work. Stop it now... this daydreaming is what I do so well and I'm told it can be counterproductive: just as BT is a wonderful time-waster now. Oh well, while we're at it, I want a P-twin (or P-TP with 1 or 2 donks) with 1000nm range and ability to get in (and out) of short bush dirt airstrips. Dunno yet which A/c, although I should talk to the RFDS and ask what they think now after they've used their PC-12s for a while. Plus BFH (big effing hangar). Balance of $ for my charity work installing safe drinking water in remote indigenous communities, plus fuel and maint to get there and back.

What would that accomplish? TBM and Pilatus have essentially the same engine with some minor differences, you couldn't use it for take off and at altitude 67 will not make more power than 66. I think their thermodynamic output is within 25hp of one another is not identical.

Rick I don't even claim to be a Pratt engine expert but just causally reading on the Pratt site shows both the 66D (TBM) and the 67P (PC12) to be "Large Blocks" but the 66D shows 850 SHP and the 67P 1200 SHP which seems to me to be a big difference. Enlighten me if I'm wrong for it's unlikely I will ever NEED this info but I find it interesting none the less.
