Chuck, you should point out that there are 26 TBM's flying right now too :-) Matt Username Protected wrote: Jason,

That changes a lot. They tout a 1200 nm range with four occupants. http://www.hondajet.com/hondajet/specificationsYou must know with 13 hours in type. What sort of FF and TAS are you seeing?

Username Protected wrote: So the deal is they say 2900 lbs full fuel, but after 2700 pounds ours is full, unless you sit there and pour in an ounce at a time. We've never gotten more than 2740 into it and most times when the line guys fuel it it's around 2600. Then you burn 1500+ on take off falling to 1200 in the teens and then down to 700 at 390. So when they say 1200 mi they mean if you managed to get 2900 lbs into it and managed to get directly to 430. Otherwise you fly for 2 hrs and then you need to think about coming downhill. Any kind of IFR routing down low and/or the possibility of going missed and you'll be bumping your 45min legal reserves otherwise. Then you gotta wonder why a 2 hr plane needs a fully enclosed aft lav... Could there be a fueling trick seems strange.

What's the tube size compared to a CJ?

They've held peoples deposits for 10 years, promising the goods in the "next 24 months"... OF COURSE THEY HAD THE MOST DELIVERIES!!!! When their little pool of devotees actually get their goods, they will have to wrestle in the mud with Embraer for every order. My .02

Username Protected wrote: I'm told they are working on a larger version. Tube size is a little bigger than a CJ1 or M2, but again I'd argue aft space is wasted on the big lav. Headroom is tight for me at 6'4", although plenty of room in the pilot seat... although like the PC12 the front seats are rock hard but that's fixable with the Oregon aero cushion (tip thx 2 Pennman!). Also ref speeds are high. Wonder what the price point will be vs the Citations

There are a LOT of options out there for a fraction of $4.5M - but I guess if you want that "new-airplane" smell, the search narrows
