It will be a few weeks before I'll hear anything regarding the findings. The old engine got shipped off yesterday. Out with the old Attachment: Old.jpg

Test run Attachment: Test run.jpg I did a 30-minute test flight today. Everything was perfect. Feels good to have it back in service.

Clint, how long did it take the MSU gents to swap the engines, from the time they dug in until the rental was running?

Great work, Clint! Calm under pressure. Single pilot jets rock! Cool cucumber award Warren

No way it happens again right? I attended to the scene of an RV-6 engine failure that landed in a field. Pilot had 20K hrs and zero engine failures. Me and my buddy who found him had 4K hrs between us and 3 engine failures. So far, I have 4K hrs and three failures in a single and two in a twin. The odds are fickle.
