Has it now been sitting for a year unflown?
What environment is it sitting in?
It would be a gamble that all the ancillary stuff, boots, A/P, gyros, radios, pressurization controller, door seals, etc... are still 100% happy after sitting for a long time un-loved.

I couldn't pass a deal like that.

Maybe worth $200k with OH engines. Depends on what else the plane has going for it.
Engine OH + Props + new exhaust + ? Can easily be $150k or more.
Big risk of it being a money pit. Plane is good for an A&P who wants a project and can do a lot of the work.
Retail value today maybe $50K. Maybe.

If you are handy with a wrench, you could save a ton. My last annual was less than $6k and that included two cylinder repairs and a set of plug wires. Buy Tom Drew's plane. It is beautiful and needs almost nothing.

Not seriously in the market. My money's going to family lawyers Just surprised at what's a handsome 340 that isn't moving under $100k and kinda curious what it "should" bring

The ramp appeal is great, and they handle really well. I have gotten to the point where I would put mine anywhere that a Bonanza would go with no issues, and spending 5 hours in it is not tiring in the least.

Doug, do you have any videos of the RSTOL in action?

I feel the same way. It has become our family station wagon, and is unbelievably comfortable on long flights. The key for us is to fly over 20,000 feet on any trips over 2 1/2 hours, to reliably see 200 true.
