Welcome to the Mu-Troupe! Its a bit of a different flyer than the Beech (err anything) but rewards with a compact form factor and strong performance.

I have tons of detailed technical documents if you ever yearn for boring details (the kind I love).

Especially in your clothes. Keep a set of disposable gloves in your plane in case you ever have to handle the jet A hose yourself. I got a few drips on a jacket and have never gotten the smell out. While I didn't mind my closet smelling like jet fuel, my wife did not.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to starting training. I think I'm taking a conservative (safety first) approach - which means having real use of the plane is still months off - limiting excitement a bit.

One of the draws to the MU-2 was I thought it would fit in my hangar. There are many different posts that generally state 20-22' from nose to back of tip is needed.

My hangar is "advertised" as 20' door to intermediate wall.

I'm here to tell you the clearance needed is exactly 20' +/-.

That would be a puckering first putting it in the hangar.

Some good tape lines and wheel stops would be helpful

FIFY,

wow, it's a game of fractional inches.....
Be careful, at night, after a long day of flying.

Great looking bird. Who did that interior?

The Mu2 is a little time machine. Enjoy your transition training.

Forgot to answer this question. Paint & interior by Ranger within the last two years. Previous owner had some association with the King Ranch. Interior matches Ford King Ranch interiors...

I've worked with Ranger a bit the last week as PO retained the N# and had Ranger paint mine on. They have been great to work with.
