I would love to take donations but this is the guy that makes it all work. Please contact him for information on donating and please drop in and see our airplanes. We should have a roll out ceremony sometime by early second quarter at KGDJ. I understand that we won’t go to paint until we get warmer weather.
I’ll certainly keep you all posted.

After much delay and a few fixes, our airplane flew it’s very first hour today.

Yes, Jay. This was a first for me to do a first flight in a new airplane. Built by kids no less.

It flew pretty straight out of the box. We do have a heavy wing but that can easily be tweaked. We’ll fly Van’s test cards and work on that by squeezing the trailing edge on one of the flaperons. We’ll get it “hands off” perfect in short order.

What an awesome program! We are moving to Granbury in July with 2 kids in tow (8 and 10). I hope this is still offered when they are old enough to participate.

Our third airplane had its engine installed this week. We hope to get interior paint done during the Christmas break. Maybe final inspection by late March.

Our third and final RV-12 (as it stands now) got stricken with the “2020” circumstances therefore our sister school has taken responsibility of getting the inspection done and the flight testing.
Shop space is a premium as we are taking delivery of a Rans S-21 Outbound kit next Tuesday. It will be configured as a “Tundra Trike” with the Titan 340.
