No idea. But it’s been doing that on and off.
Overall—most all the bugs worked out these days.
A real treat to fly.

A real treat to fly. I had the same problem. Mine came on as the cabin pressurized. The mounting plate that the door switch is mounted on was flexing. We fabricated a new, stiffer, plate and that fixed the issue.

Yes, mandatory SIDS here in Australia. We are sooo much safer than you guys, don't you know. I wasn't really including SIDS items in my appraisal though as that all tended to happen at annual time. Stuff just used to break with regularity, just enough to be annoying. Yeah--it's like a check engine light--comes on--goes off. Door is completely secure. We always see to that. Wonderful planes. Just fantastic. Huge leap over the Baron in creature comfort.

So how’s your cost on the C-340?
How does one steel oneself for 32-36gal/hr of fuel burn?

How does one steel oneself for 32-36gal/hr of fuel burn? ~$170/hr in gas to go 200k + in the flight levels in pressurized bliss? Seems easy to me!

I put about 60hrs on a Ram C340 last year. I loved it although I wasn't the one who had to write the checks for MX. I also met my new hangarmate today who flies a beautiful C335. See picture below.
Love the twin Cessnas and nearly bought one this past year. What's the skinny on 335s? Good, bad, indifferent?

I worked at Cessna at the time and the general concensus was "What were they thinking?", expecially considering it was priced at about 90% of a 340.

Is a Navajo useless? A 401/402? Queen Air?

No because they have a massive cabin and a (relatively) light airframe. They make full use of what 600-700hp can do when not asked to pressurize a cabin.
The 335 has all the design compromises of a pressurized twin without the benefits.
