A friend and I here in Seeley have bought a 58 182A. He has a J-3 and needs something to travel in, going 80 MPH is good if you never want to go anywhere. I was just looking for another toy. My friend and I had looked at some other 182's that were real junk. When he saw this one I said this is the kind of plane you call the owner and say I'll take it. Owner flew it over here for a pre buy. Since that turned out well we are having the shop keep going and making it an annual. There's a few things we need to have fixed so it'll be in the shop another week or so. Attachment: 182A.jpg Attachment: 182B.jpg Attachment: 182C.jpg Attachment: 182D.jpg

Be sure to tell your V tail that the 182 means nothing to you, it's just a fling.

A 6.00 on the nose is about perfect with 8.00's on the mains. Other than that just generally go thru it and remove anything that isn't nailed down. And maybe a few things that are.
