Bought a GCBC this summer
Went over a 100 landings today
Still hard
flying a Baron is MUCH easier.

I'm up to almost 30 hours, and 87 landings in my 7ECA. And yes, it's more challenging than landing a trike, but it's also a LOT more fun for me. I can go out and fly a 1/2 hour doing nothing but stop-and-go landings, and have a blast.
I also have a great time just cruising along flying low-and-slow, enjoying the cooler weather (down to 85*F these days - woohoo!) and checking out the scenery. In hindsight, I believe that with the faster airplanes I've owned, I probably flew a lot farther, but actually SAW a lot less of what I flew over. This plane keeps you far more "in contact" with the world around you...
Wish I lived where the leaves turn multi-colors. Around here, the leaves pretty much go from green to brown overnight, with a few exceptions.

tailwheel aircraft are not difficult to land, the just land differently than trikes. Take the airplane up to an "airwork" altitude. Practice slow flight configured for landing (assumes you have flaps down if you have them) and learn to fly the airplane slow. Get confident with flying slow, and when you learn that the airplane will still be controllable at much lower airspeed, you'll find that planting the main gear becomes much easier and you don't have the tendency to bounce if the wing is done flying.
I had a super D and once I came to terms with how slow it would fly, my landings improved dramatically.

I can cross the fence in the Bonanza 20 knots too fast and most often the only problem is I use twice as much (or more) runway. Try 3 pointing the Husky before the wing is completely done flying and things get rather busy and unpredictable fairly quickly. Aside from great fun of flying low, slow, and any 500 foot stretch of sorta flat ground looking like an airport, a great benefit of learning to fly my tailwheel toy is how much better I find I'm landing the Bonanza.

I agree and have over 100 landings in three months with my RV-8. What is great is that I can do a circuit every two minutes and it does beautiful closed patterns.

3 point unless the runway is REALLY long than a wheel landing is doable & fun.
Most of the runways I go into are less than 2,000'. For a 2 point/wheel landing I need more than that.
