We have been flying an Aerostar for more that 6 years and we have almost always had a second aircraft for our "training incentive" program.

Everyone who works with us can get free training for a PVT and IFR rating. The "second" has been various 172's, a 150, and one time a C-140. Right now a Musketeer has come to my attention and I don't know much about them.

It's a 200 HP version, GNS 430, 300 hrs on the engine/prop.

Any advice on what to look for ? AD / corrosion issues, what years are better?

The 200 HP is the Super III.
Great airplane.
Had one for 10 years back in the 80/90's.

I loved my 30+ hours in a Super III! It is a 120~125 knot airplane, and roomy, with a nice useful load.

A thorough landing gear inspection is recommended.
